Living Solutions | Peer Supported Workforce Development | Solutions for Prosperity

Created in 2006 to address the high poverty rate and need for economic development in Gresham, Living Solutions is located in the heart of Rockwood, one of the lowest income areas of Multnomah County. Most Living Solutions participants have experienced long-term unemployment and lack the training and skills needed to find living wage jobs.

The main field of focus for Living Solutions is the Health Care and Human Services field. Participants often work towards careers such as Certified Nurse’s Assistants (CNAs), phlebotomists, translators, or other positions in health care facilities. In FY 07-08, 107 participants received job coaching and career training, 70 of them becoming employed.
