Families residing in Multnomah County that need help paying next month’s rent can apply for rent assistance through Human Solutions. This program is essential to preventing families from eviction and the threat of homelessness.

Families that can stay in their home maintain stability, have fewer challenges to attaining self sufficiency, and have children whose education remains uninterrupted.

Last year, 378 families received rent assistance to prevent eviction.
